Dolores E. Garcia, 90, formerly of east Toledo, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Promedica Ebied Hospice, with her family by her side. Dolores was born in Lima Ohio on October 31, 1931 to Charles and Alice (Iiams) Hanthorn. She was a 1950 Waite High School graduate. She had worked as a nurse's assistant at the Lutheran Home for 27 years. Surviving are her children, Gaye (Don) Huss, Tom (Sandra Bauer) Garcia. John Garcia Jr., Bruce (Becky) Garcia, Sue (Jeff) Fravor; 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, loving dog, Pudge.. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband former State Representatives, John G. Garcia Sr.; granddaughter, Cari Breidenbach; siblings, Dorothy, Harold, Charles, Harry, Bertha, Mary, her beloved dog, Mickie.. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio. Her funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
