Dolores A. Petty, 76 of Oregon, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Heartland of Oregon. Dolores was born on August 30, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Christine (Oswald) Miles. Dolores was a member of the Dendarah Court #10 Ladies Patrol of the Ladies Shrine, and Order of the Eastern Star for over 25 years. She also was a member of the Eagles Post 197. Dolores was the past treasurer of the Bowman Senior Dance Club of Toledo. She enjoyed playing Bunco for over 30 years. Dolores loved spending time with her children and most of all with her 6 grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Rick & Beth, Bob & Jill, Mike & Dawn Petty; grandchildren, Tera, Billy, Brandon, Brooke, Garrett, Sydney; great grandchildren, Brandon Jr., Izabella, Olivia, Bentley, Lillyana, Daniel Jr. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Rolland, John, and George Miles. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 12 noon until 8 pm . Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 am on Monday. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice or American Heart Association.
