Dolores S. Rinker, 87 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 19, 1926 to Peter and Bessie (Zajac) Zalewski. Dolores was a graduate of Woodward High School. Dolores worked for many years at Tillotson Manufacturing, North Towne Lion Store, North Towne Dillards, and retired from the East Toledo Family Center in 2006. She was a longtime member of Yondota Chapter #137 Order of the Eastern Star and St. Mark Lutheran Church. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Corinne (Robert) Robinson; granddaughters, Gwyn ( James Johnson) Hager, Kelly ( Joseph) Owens, Evelyn ( David) Grove; step-grandchildren, Molly (Jules) Laurey and Joseph (Laura) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley (Ryan), Corinne, Donna, Ella, Jacob, Charis, and Matthew; great-great grandchildren, Madison and Adrian; and sister, Mary Kemp. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chester and Stanley; and sisters, Virginia and Sophie. Private funeral services will be held. The family wishes to thank Pastor Beth Giller and Ron Fournier of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the staff of The LaBuhn Center at the Lutheran Home at Toledo and the staff of Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional care given to Dolores.
