Obituary

Dominic A. Dioletti, 68, of Oregon, Ohio passed away September 11, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 23, 1944 on Thanksgiving Day to Nicholas and Connie (Pirolli) Dioletti. Dominic married the love of his life, Judy Cousino. They were married 48 years on September 4, 1965. Dominic was a 1962 graduate of Waite H.S. and he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toledo. He retired from Toledo Stamping in 2003. Dom was a member of St. Ignatius Church and was a long time member of the former Holy Rosary Church. Dom'™s favorite past time was having fun with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed 50'™s and 60'™s music, playing his guitar, gardening and model train layouts. He was always available to help family and friends when they were in need. You would often find Dom at his computer designing homes. He enjoyed going on vacations with family and friends. Shopping trips always included stopping at his favorite hardware stores. Surviving are his beloved wife, Judy (Cousino); children, Matthew (Christina) Dioletti and Kristy Dioletti; grandchildren, Alaina Curry, Steven Dazley, Addison Dazley, Olivia Dioletti and Emily Dioletti; sisters, Victoria Cicora and Josephine (Michael) Hentges; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Kanavel, Carol Turner, Eleanor (John) Nyers; brothers-in-law, Larry (Lucy) Cousino, Ken (Shari) Cousino, Terry (Linda) Cousino, Rick (Lydia) Cousino, Bill (Deb) Cousino, Jeff (Gail) Cousino and Scott (Tracy) Cousino, and many nieces and nephews. Dom was preceded in death by his father Nicholas and mother, Connie (Pirolli) Dioletti; mother and father-in -law, Elsie and John Cousino; brothers-in-law, Pat Cicora, Lloyd Kanavel, Jerry Cousino Wayne Cousino; Scott T. Cousino; and niece, Brenda Sutherland. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 8:15 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mark Herzog will be officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Senior Independence Hospice, 5810 Southwyke Blvd., Suite 101, Toledo, OH 43614 or St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Thanks to Senior Independence Hospice for all the wonderful care they gave Dom, especially Naomi, Chris, Jenny and Deb for all their kindness, and my sisters, Mary Ellen, Eleanor, Dom'™s sister, Jo and Rev. Mark Herzog. Visitation: Sunday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Services: Monday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church Interment: St. Ignatius Cemetery
