Donald A. Barocsi, of Maumee, Ohio and formerly of Oregon, Ohio died Wednesday, December 11th after a brief illness. He was born July 15, 1937 to Andrew and Helen (Muranyi) Barocsi. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara (Miller); children, Cheryl (Todd) Kovach and Pamela (Robert) Eaton; grandchildren, Alex and Nathan Kovach, Matthew and Katherine Eaton; sister, Andrea Barocsi; sister-in-law, Nancy (Dan) Hayes. Don graduated from Birmingham Grade School and Waite High School. He was employed for 39 years at Columbia Gas of Ohio, retiring in 1999. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church. At St. Stephen'™s he was a church council member, usher and bingo caller. He volunteered making noodles and helping with the church festivals. Don enjoyed computers, crossword puzzles, gardening, reading, tending to his fruit trees, and woodworking. In remembering Don, think of what he always used to tell his grandkids, 'œOK, I'™ll see you later.' Visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00pm '" 8:00 pm at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd, Oregon, Ohio. The Rosary will be recited at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 16th at 10:00 am at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Stephen'™s Church, 2018 Consaul St., Toledo, Ohio where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00am.
