Donald E. Conine, age 75, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Don was born to Arthur and Lucille (Smith) Conine on November 4, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio. Don loved classic cars, not only was he a body and paint specialist at Jeep for many years but working on cars was also one of his favorite pastimes.

Don is survived by his son, Scott (Angie) Conine. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Chastity (Curtis) Conine. In addition, Don is remembered by his step-grandchildren: Daniel, Drew (Anna), Leslie (Ben), and Matthew (Carisa). He is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren. Don's sister, Barb (John) Roller, also remains among his loved ones.

Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Monica, who passed away in August of 2016. He was also predeceased by eight siblings and his parents.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00am. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Campus.
