Donald C. Henninger, 71, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was born in Toledo on November 21, 1945 to Clarence J. and Margarete (Romstadt) Henninger. Don was a graduate of Clay High School and Findlay College. He served in the Army and worked as an accountant for over 30 years. Don married the love of his life, Nancy (Bertok) Henninger, and they were married for 33 years. Family and friends meant everything to Don, and he especially adored his grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Boppie". Surviving are his children. Donielle (Phil) Herring, Stephanie (Gerald Parr) Henninger and Adam (Kristina) Henninger. Sister, Pauline (Al) Adams; and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, (east of I-280) on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am. Inurnment at Lake Township Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
