Donald J. Loertscher, 92, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Altercare in Bucyrus, Ohio. Donald was born to David and Louise (Bodemann) Loertscher on October 15, 1923 in Elmore, Ohio. Donald was a machine operator for the Elmore Manufacturing Co. for 41 years, retiring in 1989. Donald enjoyed farming and fishing along with spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore and Echo Meadows Church of Christ, Oregon. Donald is survived by his daughter, Mary (John) Clime; step-sons, Phil (Sharon) Gargac, Glenn (Rosa) Gargac; step-daughter, Gloria Kalisieski; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; brother, Paul Loertscher. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Martha; second wife Marian; siblings, Lucille Charles, Victor (Nellie) Loertscher, Robert (Roberta) Loertscher and sister-in-law Audrey Loertscher. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Elmore Depot Park Barn, 353 Ottawa Street, Elmore, Ohio 43416.
