DONALD LAWRENCE LORENZEN, (Don, Larry to his immediate family and Papa to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren) born December 19, 1942, in Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully May 1, 2025, at North York General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 82.
He leaves his loving wife, Judy Fournier, and her son Phillip Fournier in Canada. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his son, Jim (Diane) Lorenzen and his daughter Lisa Mohler (Karl); grandchildren Matt (Sarah) Lorenzen, Danielle Lorenzen (John) and Terry (Taylor) Mohler; great-grandchildren Theo Lorenzen and Charlotte Mohler. He is also survived by his sisters Donna Danford and Helen (Larry) Beaudry and five nieces as well as five great nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Eileen Lorenzen.
Larry was a long-time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo and later in life became a member of Temple Shomer Emunim, Sylvania. With his father, he owned a construction company and built several homes in the Curtice, Ohio area. Later he worked for many years at Guardian Alarm of Toledo.
As per his wishes, his body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College so that future students can learn from the various chiropractic problems he had in his life and therefore, no service is planned.
