Donald Mathers, 68, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 16, 2017 at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 30, 1949 to Vernon Travis and Jo Anne (O'Hearn) Mathers. Donald graduated from Clay High School in 1967 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked at Sears for many years and had a side business as a tax preparer. Donald was a friend of Bill W. for 29 years. Donald is survived by his siblings, Margaret (Timothy) Mittendorf and Richard (Brenda) Mathers; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, on Sunday November 26 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will folllow at Willow Cemetery at a later date.
