Donald "Nick" Ritson, 66, of Oregon, OH passed away March 23, 2004 in his residence. He was born on March 28, 1937 to William and Grace Ritson. Nick was retired from the Columbia Gas Company after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Findlay, OH. Nick enjoyed having lunch weekly with the retirees from the Columbia Gas Co., the time spent at the family cottage, Lakewood, in Angola, IN and playing bingo. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne "Sue"; children, Tony Ritson, Jeff (Caroline) Ritson, Marty (Jennifer) Ritson, Renee(Denny) Wittenbach; Jim (Paula) Fouke, Jeff (Lynn) Fouke; grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, Isabella, Max, Lauren, Rachel, Michael, Jimmy, Aaron, Nikki and J.J.; brothers, Bill (Evelyn) Ritson and Larry (Sondra)Ritson; sister, Joanne Ritson. Nick was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene, Tom and Pete Ritson; sister, June Vargas and grandson,Tyler Ritson. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Williston Cemetery.
