Donald R. Weaver, 88, of Graytown, Ohio, died peacefully, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Promedica Bay Park Hospital. Don was born January 15, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, to Fred and Opal (Breitner) Weaver. In 1957, Don graduated from Holland High School. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. On February 21, 1960, he married Bonnie Sager. Mr. Weaver was a commercial roofer by trade as a member of Local 134. A true craftsman, Don took great pride in his work and would often point out projects he worked on while traveling around Northwest Ohio. He enjoyed working around his home, vegetable gardening, and helping family and friends at a moment's notice. Don was an avid Lake Erie fisherman and enjoyed cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions. A longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Elliston, Don was a member of the dartball, bowling, and softball teams for many years.

Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bonnie; children, Jeff Weaver and Cheryl (Brian) Seltzer; grandchildren, Ashley Weaver and Ben Seltzer; brother, Jim Weaver; along with many loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Brenna Pravlik; and siblings, Fred, Clyde, Bob, Ollie, and Jerry Weaver, Earlene Benson, Bonnie Grant, and Judy Lake.

The family will receive friends at Trinity United Church of Christ, 17955 West 3rd Street, Elliston, Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:00 am until funeral service at 11:00 am.
