Donna L. (nee Mulinix) Barton, 83, of Luther Hills, Toledo, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 23, 1926 to Bert and Alma (Davenport) Mulinix. She graduated from Waite High School in 1944 and married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Jim on January 31, 1945. Donna enjoyed gardening and was a loving mother and homemaker. She was also employed by St. Charles Hospital in the Housekeeping department for 6 years retiring in 1981 Donna is survived by her children, Cheryl (John) Bartow, Tim (Rita) Barton, Pam Barton, Robin (Bill) Barnes, Ellen (John) Luda and Scott (Kelly) Barton; grandchildren, Jason and Kim Bartow, Alissa (Ozan) Yakali, Aaron and Adam Barton, Juston (Carrie) Schotte, Amanda and Brian Rupert, Zach (Dani) Barnes; Jim and Christopher (Lisa), John (Elva), Pat, Greg and Brad Luda, Mitchell, Meredith, Mallory and Monica Barton; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Don (Helen) Mulinix, Lucille Burgy, Alberta Johnson, Charlotte Hooks and Patricia Adams; brother-in-law, Dale Barton and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim and sisters, Alma White and Dorothy Kiss Gladieux. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Monday from 4 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Tuesday in the funeral home with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park.
