Donna Jean Eskilsen, 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 25, 2021, with her daughter by her side. Donna was born October 28, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Ross and Elizabeth (Adams) Wagle. On June 30, 1953, she married the love of her life, Elwood R. Eskilsen, raising three beautiful children whom she loved dearly. In 1987, Donna retired from Huntington Bank and became a wintertime "Snowbird" in Florida with her husband. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing with the "Katch All Eights", line dancing, darts, bingo, and visiting the casino with her dear friend, Janet Bachmayer. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Donna is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Eskilsen (Eric Bachmayer); grandchildren, Timothy (Jeannette) Root, Tiffany Williams, and Danielle Eskilsen; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Zoee, Kendall, Lucas, and Brielle. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 39 years, Elwood; son, Gary Eskilsen; daughter, Cheryl Williams; and siblings, George, Bernard, Rosalyne, Melvin, Kenny, and Lola. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm -8:00 pm. Funeral services Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
