Donna Mae H. Schaffer, 75, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on July 7, 2008, at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 14, 1933, to Theodore and Helen (Schrader) Hagedorn. Donna was employed as a bookkeeper at A&P for 15 years, and retired as a nurse's aid at the Lutheran Old Folks Home. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Deborah Granger, Denise Segura and Kim (George) Schaefer; brothers, Floyd and Gene Hagedorn; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Schaffer; grandson, Sean Granger; son-in-law, Robert Granger. Friends and family may visit the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at First St. John Lutheran Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in St. John's Cemetery.
