Doris L. Bolin, 79, formerly of Toledo, Elmore, OH, and most recently of Orchard Villa, Oregon, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Toledo, OH on July 26, 1928, to Charles and Edna (Tyler) Putterbaugh. Before her retirement, Doris had been employed at W.T. Grant's as head cashier and at Kresge's. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her children, Paul (Linda) Bolin Jr. and Donna (John) Helle; grandchildren, Tim (Stephanie), John (Tammy), Jennifer, Todd (Mindy) and Paul III; 6 great-grandchildren and soon to be 7; brother-in-law, Charles Coleman and many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Sr.; brothers, Bobby, Billy, Butch; sisters, Bernice, Shirley, Norma and Dolores. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery.
