Doris Jean Fox (nee Kreger) passed from Earth to her heavenly home on March 4, 2013, at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of Ethan N. Fox, caring mother of Dean (Annis) Fox, and doting Grandmother of Sean and Kevin. She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Alan Fox; her loving parents Albert and Marie (nee Moritz) Kreger; and her brothers Albert Kreger and Marion Kreger. Her sisters-in-law, Clara Kreger & Ada Kreger, survive. Doris attended Oakdale Elementary in east Toledo, and was a graduate of Waite High School. She lived in east Toledo until the mid-1960'™s, when she, her husband, and son relocated to Elida, Ohio, just outside Lima. She spent over 30 years in the Lima area, volunteering in the Elida Local Schools, working for Sears in the Lima Mall, and enjoying the fellowship of the Lima Baptist Temple. In 2000, she moved with her family to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and spent her remaining years in the loving company of her husband, children, and grandchildren. There will be a visitation and celebration of her earthly life on Monday, March 11th, at FIRST ST. JOHNS LUTHERN CHURCH, 2471 SEAMAN ST., TOLEDO, OH, beginning at 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Interment will be at the church'™s cemetery immediately following the service. The family asks that any memorials be made to the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, in her name.
