Doris Redway, 88, passed away on December 6, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Doris was born on November 1, 1923 to Clifford and Ruth (Gasche) Northrup. She was a teacher at Raymer Elementary School for 30 years. Doris loved art, music and reading. She is a former member of Rosewood and Fairgreen Presbyterian Church. Doris is survived by her children, Dennis (Donna) Redway, Joan (Terry) Kramer; grandchildren, Charlie (Bryan) Smith, Daryl, David (Monica), Keith (Tori), Kevin (Kendra) Redway, Terri Kramer; great grandchildren, Brandon, Zakk and Jeslyn; sister, Louise Hebert; life-long friend, Ramona Renner; and her special cat, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, brothers, John and Joe Northrup; sisters, Helen Tussing, Evlyn Kinner. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park .
