Dorothy Archambo, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born on January 10, 1932. She was the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Kuntz) Hall and Alice Harvey. She had retired from Libbey Owens Ford in 1985 after 30 years of employment. Dorothy was strong in faith and enjoyed being with her friends. Her greatest joy came when she was spending time with her family, especially with grand and great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her children, Annette Archambo, Gary (Debbie) Archambo and Alice (Bill) Franke; grandchildren, Erika, Kelsey, Derek Franke, Lydia Archambo, Jason Brown, and Dusten Brown; great grandchildren, Abby Rose and Jalen and Rhyan Brown. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glen Archambo; brothers, Herbert, Edward, John, Fred Hall; Robert, Tom, Lawrence Ryan; and Robert Harvey; special friends, Glenda and Dennis Strahl. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Tuesday, from 2 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road, Oregon and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
