Dorothy R. Billings, 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Parkcliffe of Toledo. Dorothy was born on October 1, 1925, in Lima, Ohio to Harold and Helen (Ewing) Neubrecht. On August 25, 1945, she married Dr. Donald W. Billings. Dorothy was a longtime member of First St. Mark Lutheran Church where she served as church treasurer for many years. She had a love for the game of golf. Dorothy and Donald were longtime members of Sugar Creek Golf Club where she hit a hole-in-one. For many years, Dorothy was a volunteer with Mobile Meals and Parkview Hospital Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by her children; Susan (Michael) Roberts, Jay (Barbara), and Jeffrey (Julie); 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband; infant daughter, Judy; infant sons, Donald and Bryan and brother, William Neubrecht. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, August 9th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
