Dorothy E. Busse, 86, of Adrian, MI and formerly of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Brookdale Adrian. Dorothy was born in Swanton, Ohio on December 19, 1930 to Clarence and Mary (Fey) Burmeister. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge where she was past president of Dorcas Circle and sang in the choir for many years. Surviving are her sons, Donald L. and Roy R. (Genie) Busse; daughter, Patricia A. (Keith Magill) Busse; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, David and Daniel; sister, Jacqueline. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; brother, Clinton and an infant sister. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 11 am – 4 pm with services conducted also on Friday at 6 pm. Inurnment will take place in Elliston Cemetery.
