Dorothy J. (Smith) Dille, 82, of Genoa, Ohio passed away March 9, 2011 in her home. She was born in Wood County, Ohio on February 8, 1929 to Leo and Violet (Eckel) Smith. Dorothy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking. Most of all Dorothy enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family. She was a wonderful cook. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the senior citizen group. She was a former member of St. Ignatius Church. Surviving are her daughters, Connie (Bill) Babcock and Diane M. (Toney) Trinckler; sons, Michael (Barbara), Donald (Pam) and Robert Dille; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; dear friends, Pat and Vogie Vogelpohl. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell; parents; grandson, Jason Bischoff; sisters, Virginia Moreo and Deloris Gromnicki. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Genoa, Ohio on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and where the family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
