Dorothy Granger Dunn, age 95, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Ridgewood Manor in Maumee, where she was a resident for 18 months. She was born August 29, 1917, in Toledo to Sidney and Nettie (Yenzer) Granger. Dorothy was in the 1935 graduating class of Waite High School. She was employed as an electronics technician at Burndy Corporation and several other electronics companies for over 40 years. Dorothy was a talented artist and craftswoman who created many gifts for her family and friends. She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ for 57 years. Dorothy is survived by three nieces and three nephews. Her niece, Sally Dunn, was her caregiver for over 20 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David; her sister, Marie (Granger) Dunn; and her two brothers, Ralph and Richard. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, on Saturday, January 26, 12:00 '" 3:00 p.m. A private committal service will take place at Willow Cemetery following the visitation.
