Dorothy J. Hart "Maka", 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away June 6, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on February 25, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Rose (Nagy) Agoston. Dorothy married James Hart on April 6, 1953 who preceded her in death. She loved fishing, crocheting, embroidery, working word search puzzles and going to brunch with her 8th grade class. Dorothy also enjoyed Hungarian cooking, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by her children, Dorothy (Thomas) Kerekes, Rose (Michael) Gadus, Dolores (James) Johnson, Kenneth Hart, Patricia (Ralph) Burgess, Melvin (Laura) Hart, Jeffrey (Rochelle) Hart; 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Louie Agoston; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, James Joseph, 5 siblings; and canine companion, Lucy. Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH, 43616 on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
