Dorothy J. Knopp, 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, at Lutheran Home of Toledo. Dorothy was born in Lindsey, Ohio, on April 29, 1918, to Eugene E. and Freida (Carstensen) Hetrick. Dorothy worked in the Dietary Department at St. Charles Mercy Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1965. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Ginrich and Eileen MacLean, 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred, and grandchildren, Robin and Michael. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 noon.
