Dorothy Mae Taylor, 92, of Harbor View, passed away November 28, 2018 at Heartland of Oregon. Dorothy was born to Howard and Ruby Shrewsberry on June 12, 1926 in Besoco, West Virginia. She worked at the former Woolworths and the cafeteria at BP Refinery, retiring in 2012. She was also an Avon representative and longtime member of New Harvest Christian Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; sons Russell and his twin, Raymond; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by sons, Robert (Terri), Randy (Glenna), Ronald, Raleigh (Kathy), daughter, Darlene Taylor-Brown, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Taylor, Patricia (Ron) Robison; and sisters-in-law, Gladys Shrewsberry, Pat Shrewsberry, and Daisy Taylor. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.in the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be directed Spirit and Truth Church.
