Dorothy J. Tillett, 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center . Dorothy was born in Upper Sandusky , Ohio on November 20, 1925 to Francis and Isabell (Vogel) Rall. She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing. Dorothy worked at Resthaven Nursing Home for 26 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church , the Mercy Alumni Association and the East Toledo Family Center. Surviving are her daughters, Angela Pawlicki, Cathie Wilson and Barbara (Randy) Rose; sons, David (Nancy) Tillett Jr. and Richard Tillett; brothers, John (Monica) Rall and Robert (Peggy) Rall; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Tillett Sr.; sister, Alice Smith; and grandsons Jeff Williams and Craig Tillett. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on Friday February 14, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m and Saturday February 15, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30. a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
