Dorothy M. Norden, 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away January 5, 2011 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 4, 1925 to Floyd and Marguerite (Munger) Knitz. Dorothy was employed as a cook at Bayshore Supper Club for 15 years and also at the T-5 Truck Stop and the East Toledo Senior Center. She was a member of Main Street Church in Walbridge. Dorothy loved traveling and spending time with her family. Surviving are her sons, Patrick and Howard Jr. (Norma) Norden and Gene (Ruthann) Dale; brothers, Richard and William (Margaret) Knitz; sister, Margaret Bodi; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold. Family and friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, January 8 from 2-5 p.m. and Sunday from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
