Douglas Edward Peterson, 53, of east Toledo passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Promedica St. Luke's Hospital. Doug was born on September 10, 1962 in Toledo, Ohio to James Edward and Margot Elizabeth (Penhorwood) Peterson. Doug attended Waite High School and was a graduate of Ayersville High School. He recently received his 30 year pin of employment from Chrysler Jeep where he currently was employed as a fork lift operator. In his spare time you could always find Doug on the lake fishing and boating. His real love was spending time with his daughter Ally. Surviving are his loving daughter, Alexandria Elizabeth; parents James and Margot; brothers and sisters-in-law, James E. II & Shonna, Michael & Kathy, Scott & Carolyn, Mark & Angie. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday from 4 pm until 7 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road and where a private family funeral service will be held. FISH ON!!
