Dr. Anna Marie Vaido-Auler, 58, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on September 28, 2014 at Toledo Hospital. Anna was born on August 23, 1956. She graduated from Genoa High School in 1974. She married the love of her life Donald Auler on October 14, 1976. Anna continued her education obtaining a Bachelors in Nursing, Masters in Nursing Education and her PHD in Nursing Education in December 2013. Anna worked at St. Charles Hospital for 27 years in the MedSurg Unit, then at Flower Hospital in the Pysche Unit/Alzheimer'™s Unit. After receiving her PHD Anna became an online professor for Kaplan, Indiana Wesleyan, South, Grand Canyon and Chamberlain Universities. She was a devout Christian and member of St. Paul'™s United Methodist Church in Millbury. Anna was an animal lover, enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling with her family and was passionate about educating her students. Surviving is her husband of 37 years, Donald; father, Alex Vaido; Mother-in-law, Beverly Auler; sons, Daniel J. Auler, David J. Auler; sister, Lynda (Michael) Stiger; brother and sister-in-laws, Donna (Steve) Varga, Becky Auler, Lori Auler, Joyce Auler, Thomas Auler, David Auler; several nieces, nephews and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Iris Vaido; father-in-law Harold Auler, brother-in-law, Brian Auler; Niece Tracy Varga; great-nephew, Ethan Varga. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Williston Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Auler family or American Cancer Society.
