Duane F. "Dewey" Donley, 71, of Genoa , passed away Saturday, August 15th at Bay Park Community Hospital . He was born in Toledo , Ohio on July 22, 1938 to Kenneth and Wilhemnia (Bosen) Donley. Duane was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a meat manager for both Kroger and Foodtown supermarkets for 31 years, retiring in 1991. Following retirement, he was employed with Yackee Electric Service for 15 years. His hobbies included woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. Surviving are his wife Penny; daughters, Jodi Stone and Julie Krieger; grandchildren, Kurt and Rachael Stone, Kelsey, Derek, and Carrigan Krieger; brother, Terry, sisters, Nancy St. John and Shirley Barrett and special friend, Tim Krieger. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeffery Donley; siblings, Jane Hunt, Roberta Wilson, Arlene Rhodes, and Richard Donley A memorial service will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home 1111 Woodville Road , Millbury on Wednesday, August 19th at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
