Duane Robert Webster, 65, of Toledo, Ohio passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 17th at home.
Affectionately known as "Bronson" by his friends and family, he had a big heart and was beloved by all those he met. He loved playing the guitar and mandolin with his friends and at church. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed playing golf and helping others in any way he could.
He was a skilled ironworker and was employed for over 20 years at Marleau Hercules Fence Company. He retired in 2009 and spent his winters in Florida. Joan and Duane bought a winter home in Palmetto, Florida at Piney Point where he also had many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Catherine Webster and his brothers Jeff and Craig. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 38 years Joan (West), his children Adam (Terah) and Julie, and his three grandchildren Carson, Carter, and Colton, all of whom he adored. Also surviving are his brother Russel (Maryann), sisters Therese Hastings and Melissa (Glen) Losinski.
Friends and Family can call at The Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home at 440 S. Coy Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, December 21st from 4-9 p.m., with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. Visitation at church will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at Epiphany of The Lord, St. Thomas Aquinas Campus with mass at 11 a.m. and a luncheon to follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to give memorials are asked to donate to The Helping Hands of St. Louis.
