Earl T. Burden, 72, of Toledo passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006, in his residence. Mr. Burden was born on April 6, 1934, to Vernie and Theora (Bassett) Burden. Earl attended Woodward High School and was a retired contractor. In January of 1959, he married Patsy (Edwards) Burden who preceded him in death. He will be missed by his sons, Earl (Cheryl), Gerald, and Robert (Melissa); daughters, Donna (Tim) Losek, Susan (Steven) Nadeau and Brenda (Patrick) Ireland; brother, John; sisters, Genevieve and Shirley; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Steven Nadeau III; brothers, Vernon, Glenn, Ollie and Roger and sister-in-law, Joan Clevenger . Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
