Obituary

Earl W. Kusian, 84, of Walbridge, Ohio and formerly of Oregon, passed away October 11, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare Perrysburg. He was born in Walbridge, Ohio on July 22, 1923 to Warner and Martha (Hammer) Kusian. Before retirement in 1987, Earl had been employed as a tool and die maker at Jobst Institute.  He was an active member of  St. Mark Lutheran Church and was past president of the church council. He also was a 50 year member of the former Lotus Lodge #625 which is now Paragon Lodge No. 788      F. & A.M., Zenobia Temple, Highlanders, Scottish Rite, Lutheran Men's League of Greater Toledo and the Lutheran Men's Bowling League.   Surviving are his wife, Leota Betty sons, Gary (Linda) and Bill (Rosemarie) Kusian; brothers, Byron and James (Margie) Kusian; sister, Mary Jane (Carl) Finch; grandchildren, Steven, Jamie (Shannon), Julie, Bryan and Melissa (Jon) Lang; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Evelyn in 1977 and an  infant daughter.   Visitation will be held in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 2-9 pm with Masonic Lodge services at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Earl's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Harborside of Perrysburg for care and support. Visitation: Visitation Times Sunday, 2-9 pm Oregon Chapel
