Earl E. Weiland, 91, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on November 28, 2013 at Orchard Villa. Earl was born to John and Lovell (Brough) Weiland on May 15, 1922. He was a school bus driver for Northwood schools for 20 years, and later was a truck driver for St. Charles Hospital before retiring in 1990. Earl was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a lifelong member at First St. Mark Lutheran Church in Oregon, Ohio. On December 20, 1996 he married his wife Esther (Tippey). Earl was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the VFW.
Earl is survived by his wife Esther; siblings, Fred (Donna) Weiland, Edwin (Lynne) Weiland, Bonnie Conley, Sherry (Willard) Tiffany, Donna May (Robert) King; stepsons, Roy (Roseann) Weldon, Ken Moehring; and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty; and brother, Floyd.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials in Earl'™s name may be directed to First St. Marks Lutheran Church in Oregon, Ohio.
