Edgar Eddie Miller Sr., 68, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 in St.Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on February 4, 1934 to Louis and Martha (Kaiser) Miller in Toledo, Ohio. Eddie was emloyed at BP Oil Refinery( Sohio) for 48 years, retiring as an equipment operator in 1999. Mr. Miller was a member of Lotus Lodge #625 F& AM, Zenobia Shrine Jeepster Unit and an honorary member at the Northwood VFW. Surviving are his daughter, Denise (Rick) Zawodni; son, Edgar, Jr.; sisters, Margaret Carpenter, Erma (Charles) Felkey, Joyce (Edward) Dixon and Marthalou (Roy) Glass; friend, Darlene Hankinson; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; brothers, Charles, Robert and George Miller; sister, Marjorie Kirchner. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 pm. Lotus Lodge services will be Thursday at 7:30 pm Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Shrine Childrens Hospitals.
