Edith N. Ellis, 90, formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away February 5, 2008 at her residence in Andersonville, TN. She was born in Naugatuck, West Virginia on April 4, 1917 to William and Ida (Meade) Damron. Edith had been a member of Harbor View Missionary Baptist Church, Oregon, OH and Victory Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN.  Surviving are her sons, Walter (Karen) and James (Judy) Ellis; daughters, Sandra (Ben) Ridenour, Linda (Danis) Lawson and Mary (Marty Dubbs) Bandeen; sisters, Gloria Grashel and Ima Booth; brother, William "June" Damron; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Ellis, 3 sisters and 1 brother.  Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, February 7, 2008 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
