Edith M Felhaber, 86, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 5, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born May 21, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Evelyn (Thayer) and Russell Mohn. She graduated from Olney High School and shortly thereafter married the love of her life, Charles "Bud" Felhaber, her soulmate for the next 49 years. Edith was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed a lifelong dedication to family, each of whom felt her unconditional love and genuine interest in their lives. She was a lifelong member of First St. Johns Lutheran Church, the Red Hatters, loved to play golf and never missed a game that her husband coached.
Edith is survived by her brother Jim (Pat) Mohn, daughter Susan (Dan) Hipsher, son Randy (Emily) Felhaber, grandchildren Andy and Bryan Hipsher, Nick Felhaber, Julie Klotz and Jacqueline Thompson, four great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles "Bud" Felhaber, sisters Mary Ellen (Griffith) and Lela Jean (Keaton) and brothers Richard, Lorin and William Mohn.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinart & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, October 8th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family will also greet friends on Saturday, October 9th at First St. John Lutheran Church, 2471 Seaman Road, Toledo, Ohio 43605 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edith's name may be directed to Parkcliffe Alzheimer's Memory Care Community P.O. Box 1268 Maumee, Ohio 43537. A private celebration of life will be held by the Sue Felhaber Hipsher family in Pawleys Island, SC.
