Edith Schenbeck, 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2002 at Heartland of Perrysburg. She was born in Swanton, OH on April 19, 1917 to Rufus and Florence Schenbeck. Edith was a machine operator for 33 years with Champion Spark Plug retiring in 1974. She was a longtime member of Oakdale United Methodist Church and active with the United Methodist Womens Group. She also was past secretary of the Friendly Center and active with the helping hands of St. Louis. Surviving are her sister, Patricia (Earl Jr.) Oakley; nieces, Kathryn (Dennis) Gerkie and Teresa Wick; nephews, Tim (Margie) Oakley and Earl III (Janet) Oakley; 10 great nieces and nephews and 3 great great nephews. Visitation will be held in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel,440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 from 4 to 8 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 am. Interment will be held at Willow Cemetery. Visitation: Visitation Times
