Edmund O. Napier Sr., 80 of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Ed was born in Wilsondale, West Virginia, to Blaine and Sidney (Sutherland) Napier. He worked as a foreman for the Reichert and Zero Stamping Companies for 30 years before retiring in 1996. In his early years he enjoyed riding his Harley Motorcycles. Later he enjoyed traveling with his soul mate Beverly, especially to Myrtle Beach, England and West Virginia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Ed is survived by his soulmate of 37 years, Beverly Brushaber; children, Ruby Napier, Julie (Kenn) Crowell, Edmund O. Napier Jr.; grandchildren, Edmund Napier, Tiffany (Calvin) Kos, J.J. (Amanda) Napier, Jonell (Paul) Schott, Natalie Stockmaster, Kenny Crowell, Erika (Geoff) Gill; sister Brookie Crapsy; also close to his heart, Crystal (Chad) Baxter and Arnold (Sue) Hensley. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Morgan and Ronnie Napier and Charlotte Walkowiak.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 12:00 pm noon until the time of funeral services at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
