Edna M. Sayre, 75, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on August 18, 1946 to Howard and Alta (Clucky) Hartford. She worked for Alliance Shippers for many years before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, working jigsaw puzzles and gardening. What she cherished most, was spending time with her family. Edna is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Angela Wagner, Amy (Noel) Elliot; grandchildren, William, Emily, Claudia, Evan, Declan; brother, David (Linda) Hartford; sister, Nancy (Jerry) Smith and Linda (Doug) Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Elroy, Elwood and Raymond. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
