Edna F. Schultz, 86, of Northwood, Ohio passed away July 25, 2013 in her home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 27, 1927 to William and Dessie (Simonton) Eddy. Edna was employed as a bookkeeper at A & P, retiring in 1963. She also worked at the Hirzel Canning Company for several seasons. Edna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There she taught Primary, Young Women'™s, and Sunday School. She was the secretary for the Relief Society and served in the Temple. Edna had an enormous heart and cared for anyone who needed help. She loved watching the OSU and Michigan football game with her family while they had their Thanksgiving celebration.
Surviving are her children, William (Gayle) McKenzie, Catherine (James) Studneski, Karl (Lynn) Schultz, and Gayle (Jim) Wilson; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Earl (Nancy Russell) Eddy. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; son, Denis and daughter-in-law, Joyce Duncan; brothers, Donald and Milton Eddy; sisters, Ruth Mauter and Delores Thie.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 12-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 11050 Avenue Road, Perrysburg, Ohio on Monday July 29, 2013 with visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Senior Independence Hospice or Hospice care of donor'™s choice.
