Eduardo Algarin, 63 of Curtice passed away peacefully Saturday, January 3, 2004 surrounded by his loving wife
and daughters. Eduardo was born January 5, 1940 in Canovanas, Puerto Rico to Marcelino and Alejandrina
(Santiago) Algarin, who preceded Eduardo in death. He had worked as a butcher for Tanks Meat prior to his
retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes, Genoa.
Surviving are his wife, Maria Carmen; daughters, Dalia (Tony) Ortiz, Virginia Algarin-Strayer, Olaida (Lupe)
Castillo, Elisa Algarin; granddaughters, Serena, Hannah, Alexis, Ciara, Grace; brothers, Francisco, Anibal,
Alcides, Abraham; sisters, Maria, Delia,Lumin, Julia, Minerva; his very special cat, Amigo.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2-9 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral
Home Woodville Road Chapel, 111 Woodville Road, Millbury where the rosary will be recited Wednesday at
7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday beginning in the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. and proceed to Our
Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, Ohio for Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will
follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
