Edward L. Allgier, 76 of Perrysburg passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at St. Luke'™s Hospital. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 25, 1934 to Harley and Elsie (Everhardt) Allgier. He was an equipment operator for Toledo Edison for 38 years prior to his retirement. Ed was an avid sports fan, enjoying all sports, especially his Ohio State Buckeye'™s! Surviving are his children, Kim (Rick) Swartz, Robin (David) Herman, Mark (Kelly) Allgier, their mother, Naomi Allgier; 5 grandchildren; brother, Robert (Charlotte) Allgier; sister, Nancy Mayo. Ed was preceded in death by his second wife, Audrey and his parents. Memorial services will be conducted at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Saturday at 1:00 pm. Where the family will greet friends 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Ed'™s memory may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Make-a-Wish Foundation.
