Edward E. "Gene" Dauer, 73, of Toledo, OH passed away October 5, 2004 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Gene was born on March 4, 1931 to Carl and Clarissa (Laser) in Toledo, OH. He was employed with Interlake Iron Co. for 30 years. Gene was a past Master of Lotus (Paragon) Lodge F & AM #788. He was a member of Port Lawrence Chapter #176 R.A. M., Vistula Council #108 R.E.S.M., EU-TAH Commandery #66 K.T., a K.Y.C.H., Zenobia Shrine Directors Staff, H1-12 Chapter, and many more Masonic bodies. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Keith. Surviving are his brother, Stanley (Mary); sister-in-law, Roberta Dauer; nephews, Donald (Joyce)Dauer and Randy Wilkerson; great-nephews, Drew and Joel, and a host of friends and brethren to mourn his passing. There will be no funeral services. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. The Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, is handling arrangements.
