Edward F. Gargac, 79, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 , surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born in Curtice, Ohio on February 11, 1937 to Alex and Mary (Thomas) Gargac. On March 14, 1959, he married the love of his life Sandra Reusch. Ed retired from Toledo Scale and worked alongside his wife in her vending business. In later years, he assisted a friend with the operation of her coffee shop. Ed enjoyed cruising, traveling with his wife and family to Amish Country, and spending time at their home in Titusville Florida. His hobbies included: attending local fairs & festivals, picnics and family barbeques. A devoted Christian, Ed attended Cedar Creek and Plymouth Mayfair Churches where he was active with their small group ministries.
Ed is survived by his children, Mark (Sandy) Gargac, Randy (Dee) Gargac, Jackie (Terry)Jankowski; grandchildren, Mandy (Shane) Hancock, Angela Jankowski, Ashley (Josh) Sandlin, Austin Jankowski, Katie Gargac, Savanah Gargac, Hayley Gargac, and Jake Gargac; great-grandchildren, Lexi and Sierra Hancock; brother, Raymond (Bernadine) Gargac; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; and 11 siblings.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Clay Township Cemetery.
