Edward J. Goetz, 77, of Toledo, OH passed away December 28, 2006, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo, OH on February 12, 1929, to Fred and Ada (Navarre) Goetz. Ed was a naval veteran and worked as a computer editor with the Dana Corp. for 43 years retiring in 1991. He also was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed playing golf. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Kathleen; children, Lynne (Jennifer Glassford) Goetz, Edward N. (Gwen Metzger) Goetz and Kristie (Kevin) Ruedy; grandsons, Jared and Wesley Ruedy; brother, Donald (Pat) Goetz and many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joanne Przysiecki. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
