Edward R. Keller, 87, of Sebring, FL passed away Wednesday, May 2, 3007 in Sebring. He was born March 11, 1920 to Edward and Ethel (Myers) Keller in Toledo, Ohio, and had been a winter resident of Sebring since 1992, and a full time resident since 2004, coming from Toledo. He was a supervisor for Fruehauf Trucking and Trailer Corporation in Toledo and was a veteran of World War II, serving as a private in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the F. Scottish Rite; International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers; High Twelve International; Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and was an active volunteer with the Shriners, driving children to the hospital.
Edward is survived by his daughters, Carol Kanfield of Toledo, Patricia Deal of Oak Harbor, OH and Charlene R. Davis of Scotrun, PA; sister, Frances Darling of Lakeland, FL and her family; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Barkhimer; sister, Dorothy Lehr and is survived by her family. He was also preceded in death by his loving partner, Donna Connelly and is survived by her family, the Schabers and the Keatings.
A Memorial Service will be conducted in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. where the family will greet friends at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, P.O Box 229, Sebring, Fl 33871.
