Edward J. "Skip" Koprowski, 77, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on June 5, 2017 in his home. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 29, 1939 to Julian and Etheland (Dabar) Koprowkski. He graduated from Scott High School and shortly after married his best friend and dancing partner, Betty (Harder). Ed worked for CSX as a train master until his retirement in 2000. After retirement Ed continued working for CSX as a traveling instructor. He enjoyed singing, dancing with his wife, vacationing in Myrtle Beach and watching sunsets. What Ed cherished most was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty; children, Edward (Kim) Koprowski, Suzanne Koprowski, Timothy (Kristy) Koprowski; grandchildren, Danielle (Mike) DeFalco, Jacquline Koprowski, Kaitlyn, Keeley and Karly; 5 great-grandhcildren; sister-in-law Rita Koprowski; niece, Kim; and nephew, Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julian, James; and sister-in-law, Anola.
In accordance to Ed's wishes, services will remain private. Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
