Edward R. Mathile, 52, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born on November 6, 1958 in Oregon, Ohio to Virgil and Catherine (LaPlant) Mathile. Edward was employed with the Toledo Sports Arena for many years as a janitor. Edward is survived by his father, Virgil; sisters, Peggy Heverly, Sue Klosinski, Wanda Jean Mathile, Tina (Chris Poignon) Hartranft, Kathleen Webb, and Diana (Bruce Bryant) Komives. Edward is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, and brothers, William and John Mathile.
